Aged for nearly two years in a Thomas H Handy Sazerac Rye Whiskey Barrel, this imperial stout is almost as old as we are. A 24-month endeavor, there is so much barrel character derived in this passion project that no adjuncts were added. Deep and rich with oak and whiskey notes, this beer has spirit-driven aromas tinged with cherry chocolate truffles. Pouring a viscous, black-hued body, the notes bellow between baking spice, dark chocolate, toffee pudding, and complex, finely-balanced tannins. Drinking is recommended late in the eve with friends or loved ones, BETWEEN ONE NIGHT AND THE NEXT.
