Cask at the Lawrence Sheriff (Llloyds), Rugby, 03/04/13. Clear golden with a thin white head that clears to the edge and leaves a film. Nose is malt, cereals, grain, biscuit, toffee, light root beer notes. Taste comprises toffee, malt, sugars, cereals. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, dry finish with a little bitterness. Ok whelming fayre - assume the classic 6-3-6-3-12 !!!

Festival cask ale, one-third pint on a sample tray at J DW The Welkin. Beige thin head. Clear golden-brown body. Laces well. Pale malts and floral hops to the nose. Taste of herbal hops on a grainy backbone to the taste buds. Fruit bitter tail. Fined bodied. Foamy in the mouth and a bit floury. Satisfying with the breakfast (Liverpool, 08.04.2013).

Cask at the Catherine Wheel (JDW), Henley. Hazy amber with a tight cream head; grainy, almost floral, aroma; soft and grainy body with some jammy fruit; and a plain, biscuity, finish. Not very exciting.
