Bottle at home and this is something good. Stunning colour in the glass with lasting lacing. Huge and rich nose and a deep and rich fruit and savoury taste that is perfectly balanced. The mouthfeel goes on and on. This is a superb beer.

Small Bottle. Thanks to SirAlex. Pours cloudy Golden with a White head. Golden nugget? Floral, dried fruit, honey, grains and quite that bitter hop. Fun. 3.9

Bottle bought at Beautiful Beers, Bury St Edmunds. Somewhat opaque honey amber. Thick fluffy foamy white head with prolonged lacing. Aroma is malty, doughy. Light honey and floral notes. Slightly bitter fermented fruit edge. Light-medium bitter. Grains. Hedgerow. Over ever so slightly syrupy fruit and a big doughy streak. Peripheral booze. Spice. Light-medium bodied. Slick albeit a tad thin.. Soft-fizzy carbonation. Long dry astringent finish. Festy Biere de Garde.

Good stuff overall. Some nice sun-baked biscuits, a little dried honey, dirty hay, soft grassy bitterness, mellow yeast expression. Well balanced. A nip of dried citrus peel. Solid. Moreish.

Bottle from HoTM. It pours clear blonde with a thick, fluffy white head. The aroma is soft, bready, biscuit, baked goods, Belgian esters, melon, poached pear, mellow banana split cubes, toasty grains, cereal, straw and nutty vibes. The taste is initially dry, crispy, bready, baked goods, biscuit, spice, fragrant, snap of bitterness, floral, juniper, pear skin, melon, green banana and a touch of alcohol with a drying finish. Average body and moderate, foamy carbonation. Feels like a daisy, something I've not seen old chimneys do before, but it is very them.
