Cask at the Green Lion, Malmo. A very dark reddish brown pour with bags of frothy tan head and lace that just wouldn't go away. A big dry pure yeast aroma. The flavour is pure citrus spicy bitterness with a strange floral bitterness in the aftertaste. A decent taster, but not for a session.

0.5l bottle shared with The Tasting Crew. This is a light cloudy brown-amber one with a small bubbly and sidesticking off-white head. On the aroma this is light malty-sweet, hoppy, fruity, some red berries and hints of red apples. Nice aroma! It has a average carbonation level and a light dry, yet oily texture. It's surprisingly bitter this one. Also quite apply-fruity, and I don't really get anything more in this one. Ends extreme astringent and mouthdrying - so much that it kinda ruins it a bit. 16.06.2012

Wirstrom’s, Stockholm, tap: Pours a light amber with a white head. Aroma is citrus hops. Taste is mellow, but comprehensive hops. There is not too much fruitiness, and it is also much lighter on the malts than your standard American Amber; instead, it is a more crisp ale. Leaves some aftertaste. Pretty good.

Bottle at home. Has a clear reddish amber colour with a medium light beige head. Fruity aromas of hops, berries, grapefruit, oak and dried fruit. A lot of hops in the flavours along with apricot, tropical fruits, sweet malt, leather and some roast. Soft and sparkly mouth feel, and a medium bitterness. A good ale that reminds me of an IPA.

330 ml bottle bought through Systembolaget. Pours clear dark amber with a small frothy offwhite head that quickly dissipates while leaving some lacing on the glass. Smell is sweet with caramel, grass, orange zest, toffee, vanilla, unripe mango, bread, dried papaya and subtle hints of old eggs. Taste is sweet, bitter and metallic with bread, freshly cut grass, lemon balm, caramel, orange peal, sheet metal, resinous wood and hints of overripe apples, wet leaves and rotten eggs. Mouthfeel is slightly dry, oily bitter and light to medium bodied. Finish is tiny sweet and bitter with caramel, orange peal, freshly cut grass and resin.
