Slightly hazy copper and deep bronze coloured body with a nice two to three centimetre tall tan head. Aroma of crisp hops with a perfumey and piney bite along with a dash of good strong malt and ending with a light sweetness from resin and pears. Medium-bodied; Strong assertive hop bitterness shows through at first with a lot of grain and malt to balance it out, but the resinous and very perfumey hop bitterness shines through and leaves things quite bitter, in a good way, all with a light tropical/pineappley note at the end with some additional resin, with some alcohol poking through as well. Aftertaste shows the grass, hay and floral notes with some malt backbone, but the bitterness from the hops are the strongest, for sure. Overall, a fairly nice, relatively strong IPA that has a lot of perfumey, piney and especially floral notes with a good balance and pungent profile throughout. I sampled this twelve ounce can, purchased from Family Fare [grocery store] in Rapid City, South Dakota on 25-June-2020 for US$1,67 sampled in my hotel room here in Rapid City, South Dakota a few hours later on 26-June-2020.

Can split at the L6 XMAS Karnage Tasting, big thanks to the Wingmane for this .rar state rake, 19/12/19. golden amber with a decent off white cap. Nose is grass, light pine, melon, orange pith, toasted malts. Taste comprises grass, orange peel, melon, light pine, citric tinged straw. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close spiked with moderate hop bitterness. Passable, but not a terrible IPA, but all about that state rake!

Can shared in Canary Wharf, London - many thanks to Dave-O for the obscure state. Pours totally clear gold with a creamy, white head. So so, a bit harsh, with strong grassy bitterness, flowers, citrus peel. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Lightly resinous finish, with very harsh bitterness. Unbalanced.
