Option unauffällig, Schaum passt. In der Nase angenehm fruchtig, reife Beeren. Im Trunk ebenso, leicht alkoholisch, dezent bitter, keine Zitrusbombe, eher dunkler in den Noten. Passt.

Can from Beer Republic Advent cal drunk at home after a tasty steak with mushrooms finished in port wine sauce from deglazing the Le Creuset. Hazy amber with a large fine head. Nose is piney, a bit of citrus and some bready caramel. The flavor is dank with moderate bitterness. Lots of complex pine sap notes in there. Bitterness is definitely long lasting. Good one for the forest lovers!

Ever so slightly hazy deep copper and light bronze coloured body with a very ugly, super soapy three centimetre tall off-whtie head that leaves a large spotty lace on the sides. Aroma of floral, slightly earthy, piney and even a touch resinous hop notes, with some noticeable malt here and a kick of citrus fruit and some light sugars at the tail end. Medium-bodied; Strong caramely and toffee-y flavours show at first with a strong malt backbone that breaks out some earthiness and toasted grain with some added bitterness here from the malt bill, but the hops are still very strong, all finishing with a nice sweetness from citrus fruit. Aftertaste is pretty bitter without much else going on despite the bigger malt notes and a hint of citrus, this is all about the alpha acid bitterness of the hops as an IPA should be! Overall, quite nice with a lot of dry, grassy and especially herbal notes, maks this go down like an old-school (read: Hoppy & Bitter) IPA and it works well! Great to sample and worth getting if you like real old-school IPAs! I sampled this twelve ounce can, purchased from Whole Foods in New York (Bryant Park, 42nd Street), New York on 15-January-2022 for US$2,99, best by '23-May-2022' and sampled a few days after that at my house here in Washington on 15-June-2022.

Aroma of pine resin. Taste has more nondescript resin, some lemongrass. Palate has much of the same.

On tap. Pours a near clear gold with a white head that lasts throughout the beer and laces. Aroma has earthy citrus and light papaya with sweet grains backing. Flavor has earthy citrus and tangerine with a touch of mango and light sweet grains.

16 oz. Draft in Carmel Hamlet, NY. Flavor has a lasting apricot over tone with mild pine, and a soft floral hint. Really nice blend of hop flavors. Somehow different from the norm.
