Good! One of the best non-official Zoigl joints. Beautiful decor and atmosphere.

Der Zoigl vom Posterer, vom Faß in der Zoiglstube zum Wagerer, Parkstein. - Orangegold, trüb. - In der Nase Hefe, Karamel und ein Hauch von Kuhstall. - Antrunk brausig dünn karamelmalzig mit schüchterner orangenfruchtiger Hopfenherbe. Zu stark rezent. Ruppig krautig-herber Abgang. - Enttäuschend dünner Zoigl. (26.8.2019.)

Two pints at Zum Posterer. Hazy orange amber. The first came with just a bit of lace and almost still, the second was softly effervescent with a 3 cm airy head. I guess they changed the keg. Second one was slightly better. Fruity nose with caramel / toffee, bread, apple, and light melon. Spicy caramel apple flavor, bread, cinnamon and pepper. Soft, oily body, almost flat the first time, more prickly the second. There was less apple in the second pint, which was a bit better, although it seemed to be there on purpose and was not acetaldehyde. Spicy, peppery, bitter finish. A very unique, spicy zoigl with more caramel / toffee than expected, and seemed to have endured a super long boil.

Keg at Zum Posterer in Windischeschenbach on 14th July 2017. Pours hazy amber with a thin white head. Aroma is caramel, butter, popcorn a little vanilla. Taste is a big buttery caramel hit with a smidgen of vanilla and a nice malty finish. Not too sweet and decent smooth carbonation.

Draft at the source, 14/07/17. Almost clear copper golden with a decent off white head. Nose is sweet malts, caramel, light honeysuckle, grains, biscuit. Taste comprises mellow fruit rinds, toffee, fruit loaf, brown sugars, toasted popcorn, soft breads. Medium bodied, fine massaging carbonation, semi drying close. Solid well balanced affair.

Würziger, leicht karamelliger Antrunk. Geringe Süße, spritzig, leichte Herbe ab dem Mittelteil. Süffig getreidiger Abgang, malzig, vielleicht etwas zu trocken. 12/12/12/10//12

Tap. Cloudy orange, champagne bubbles, big fluffy offwhite head. Light peachy, citric hoppy aroma. Full fruity entry, minerals take over, cranberries, grassy, citric balance. Chewy, yet dancing on the palate. Wonderfull moreish beer.

Tap at Zoiglhaus. Milky malt aroma. Cloudy amber color with a moderate head. Creamy malt and moderately bitter grassy hops flavor. Nice body. A solid easy drinking beer.
