A regular and classical weissbier, all the time a pleasure to drink this kind of beer that the Swiss brewery don't make often, refreshing. 29.10.2018, tasting it, in our rented flat at Innsbruck.

Bottle from Lekkerbier, Sint Nicolaasga. Not the smoothest Hefeweizen. Aroma is bready wheat, some citrus besides the banana. Some light wheaty sourness, light sweet. Medium body. Decent.

Smell of banana, wheat. Hazy amber colour, white head. Aroma of wheat, clove, yeast. Foamy carbon. Lightly sour, lightly sweet.

Bottle 50 cl. Cloudy, opaque orangey golden with a creamy and lacing off-white head. Sweet banana aroma paired with yeast. Rich body with fatty banana notes but also a slight tartness. Dry finish. Yeasty and spicy. Decent for the style. 101023

Draft in Neukirchen am Großvenediger. Banana bread aroma on hazy amber with a big head. Nice creamy mouthfeel with a pretty one dimensional ripe bananas note, a bit of malty wheat in there too, lemony hop note. Better than expected from Zillertaler! One thumb up.
