Durch die Flaschengärung ist auch in unserem Leichten Weißbier viel feine Hefe enthalten, die sich zum einen in der feinen trüben hell braunen Farbe zeigt zum anderen in den bananigen fruchtigen Aromen. Die leichte Kohlensäure und die zarte Hopfenbittere lassen das Leichte Weißbier zu einem erfrischenden Sommerbier werden.

Bottled. An unclear golden beer with a thin off-white head. The aroma has notes of malt, wheat, and oranges. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, cardboard, and wheat as well as lighter notes of caramel. The body is light.

(bottle) Cloudy, murky golden colour with a a slightly tanned frothy head. Moderately sweet and yeasty wheat-malty aroma with distinctive banana-fruity notes, backed by clovy spice. Slightly sour and tart flavour, light bodied with a calm carbonation. Yeasty and quite slim wheat-malty taste with banana accents and notes of cloves, leading into a slim and short wheaty and mildly fruity finish. Slim but refreshing. 21.X.09

Bottle:Golden to deep golden, hazy with a fluffy - slowly collapsing - head; typical yeasty-fruity (bananas) nose; light to weak sweetish-sourish flavour, watery MF; short watery and wheaty finish. Good aroma, but all in all quite thin.......

The bottle looks good, the beer in the glass also. Starts nicely yeasty, fine fruity like banana. Finish a bit thin, but still much better than other light hefeweizens. I liked it.

Bottle, bought in Murnau. Soft worty aroma with banana. Watery flavor with citrus, banana and a hint of wort. Short aftertaste. Not really bad, but thin and watery and a totally uninteresting beer.

Bottled (as Karg Leichtes Hefe-Weissbier). Slightly hazy golden colour, mediumsized white creamy head. Aroma is banana, some herbs, yeast and mild yeastyness. Flavour is citrus fruits, wheat, herbs and some slight bananish notes. Balanced and refreshing. Surprisingly good for being only 2.9%!

Bottle. It pours a hazy, orange body with a minimal, white head. A bit oily. Banana, some cloves, wheat and a little citrus and hops in the aroma. The flavor is on the sweet side, with banana and cloves, some wheat and bitterness. Medium body, a bit low on carbonation. Some bitterness in the finish, but lacks on everything else. Very nice for a leichtes weissbier, I could actually easily down a few of these. (090228)

Bottle 50 cl. Comes as "Karg Leichtes Hefe-Weissbier". Pours a hazy and opaque golden with a small, rough white head. Aroma of yeast and banana.Light body with distinct notes of yeast and banana. Heavy carbonation and slightly sulphurous. For a light Hefe this ain’t too bad. 080209

50 cL bottle. Pours hazy orange with a small white head. Mild yeasty and wheaty fruity aroma. Sweet and wheat fruity flavoured, light yeasty. Overripe banana note. Ends mild yeasty.
