Our Trippel has always been a big, beautiful Belgian-style ale, but in 2015, we tweaked the recipe to include a new yeast variety and even more complex malt profile. This golden beer opens with a bold blast of spicy Noble hops, courtesy of Saaz and Hallertau Mittlefruh, and gives way to the fruity aromas offered by our traditional Belgian yeast. Brewed with Pilsner and Munich malts, Trippel is classically smooth and complex, and sings with a high-note of sweet citrus before a pleasantly dry finish delivers a warm, strong boozy bite. Give Trippel a sip to get you smiling.

355ml bottle. Pours a clear, golden yellow with a medium, long lasting, white head that laces. Sweet, fruity aroma with yeast and coriander. Sweet fruity flavour with caramel malt, yeast, coriander and finishing on a dry, mild alcohol note. Medium body with a thin texture and soft carbonation.

330ml bottle from Saveur-Biere.fr. Pours hazy blonde with big white head. Perhaps a little creamy and fluffy than I imagined. Certainly much sweeter than a Belgian tripel, even coming across more like a wiessbier, with additional vanilla and marshmallows coming through. Ok, but a bit fluffy for me.

Good example of a domestic trippel. Perhaps not as refined but does have some of the civilized qualities. Perhaps a little metallic on the nose. Would be better without the coriander IMHO.

4 oz pour on draft at B Side. Clear golden orange with off-white head. Aromas of citrus, orange peel, herbs. Tastes of herbs, spice, light citrus. Medium body with a dry finish. Syrupy mouthfeel. Different from the traditional tripel but okay.

355ml bottle. Barely clear, orangey golden colour with small, frothy, diminishing, minimally lacing, white head. Honey’d, grainy-spicy, minimally fruity aroma, hints of plain bitter hop. Taste is slightly sweet grainy, minimally fruity, a touch of honey, biting spicy and bitter hoppy overtones, additional bite and warmth in the alcoholic finish. Hooch-olic.

Bottled. Hazy goldeny orange colour with a mediumsized foamy head that leaves some lace. Aroma is fruit, some slight alcohol, mild grains, bread and some slight spices. Flavour is quite evidently coriander with some grains, mild sweet alcohol, some very fruity notes. Lacks a bit of the "spicy yeast" a good Belgo tripel usually has. On the right way, but misses some elements, which also makes it feel a bit thin and almost like a "half hearted" attempt.

A golden beer with a medium and white head. The nose has peaches and fruits, quite sweet, some spices and coriander. Taste is sweet, fruitful, some spices. Medium bodied, medium carbonation. Quite sweet tripel that could be more complex.
