25/8/2022. Bottle shared at the 43rd Peterborough Beer Festival. Pours clear golden with a fluffy white head. Aroma is sweet, malty, grain, grass, flowers. Quite sweet with light to moderate bitterness. Moderate body, oily, fizzy. Quite ok.

Bottle, 0.5l. Clear golden pour, one finger soapy white head, medium retention, minimal lacing on the glass. Mild on the nose, sweet and malty, grains, mild herbal notes. Light body, soft carbonation. Average mouthfeel and texture, soft, smooth, lightweight, easily drinkable. Balanced taste, malty sweet with subtle bitterness in the background, hints of spice. Aroma of malt, grains, grass. Bready notes, mild fruity touches. Medium lasting finish, slightly dry, subtle lingering bitterness. Solid thirst quencher.

0,33 bottle. Klasszikus cimke. A sör normál, világos, kristálytiszta németes-pilseni kinézetű, közepes fehér habbal. Illata is "Németesen precíz", semmi zavaró, finom komlós, de mégis van egy maláta alap, és tényleg semmi zavaró. Sör. Az íze nekem a vártnál jobb. Nem annyira keserű, mint a cseh-pilsenik, van benne egy finom virágosság. Íz-szénsavasság minden tervszerűen pont jó. (persz nem kiemelkedő) Édeskés malátás, száraz alapon egy elég precíz komló adagolású decens pilsenivel volt dolgom. Nyáron komoly mennyiség jól esne belőle, kár hogy csak egy üveggel jött. Klasszikus ivósör.

Classic label. The beer is normal, light, crystal clear German-Pilsen look, with medium white head. The smell is also "Germanly precise", nothing disturbing, delicate hops, but still there is a malt base, and really nothing disturbing. Beer. The taste is better than I expected. Not as bitter as Czech-Pilsens, there is a delicate florality. Taste-carbonation is all just right as planned. (of course not outstanding) Sweet maltiness, on a dry basis I was dealing with a decent Pilsen with a fairly precise hop dosage. A serious amount of it would be good in the summer, too bad it only came in one bottle. Classic drinking beer.

500ml bottle, online from Trembling Madness. Pours clear golden with a white head. Aroma: pale bread, grains, biscuits, grass, hay. Light to moderate sweet & light bitter, biscuits, pale grains, hay. Light to medium body with soft carbonation. Steady overall.

Hellgülden und klar im Glas. Eine Vielzahl kleiner CO2-Bläschen steigen sehr schnell in die Höhe. Die feinporige weiße Schaumkrone gibt sich stabil und gut haltbar. Grasig grüner Duft mit leicht süßlich fruchtigem Anklang. Frischer grasiger, leicht floraler Antrunk. Angenehm malziger und überraschend breiter vollmundiger Körper, welcher eine ausgesprochene Süffigkeit zur Folge hat. Der Hopfencharakter, den man erwarten würde, bleibt praktisch zur Gänze aus. Angenehm rezenter und brotiger Abgang. Auch hier vermisst man anfangs die pilstypische Hopfenherbe, welche sich erst nach Minuten einstellt. Wenn man ein typisch deutsches Pils erwartet, wird man womöglich enttäuscht sein. Man muss aber festhalten, dass es ein überaus ausgewogenes, vollmundiges, süffiges und gutes Bier ist.
