We were super honored to host our new friends from the world famous Dutch brewery, De Molen! We decided on a Black IPA, dry hopped with Citra, Amarillo, Mosaic, Simcoe, and then hit it with some Nelson Sauvin Hop Kief from Freestyle Hops. Cheers!

Can shared, black beer, small head. Aroma is roast, hops, citrus, malt. Taste is the same, bitter, dry, roast, malt, hops. Nice

Dark, muddy brown with a beige head. Not all that appealing when poured but better in the glass. Big pine resin, burnt malts, dark chocolate, roasted malts, dark fruits. Full bodied. Bitter lingering finish. Nice beer.

Draught @ Kaffee Bazaar, Ypres. Pours unclear dark with a foamy tan head. Decent BIPA.. interesting flavour profile.. can pick out a bit of liquorice, dark candy sugar perhaps, brown malt, dark malt.. finishing dry. Like it.

Op tap bij Borefts '25. Vrijwel zwarte kleur, beige kraag. Tabak, gebrande mout, hoppig, citrus, grapefruit, limoenschil, koffie, goed bitter, prikkelend hoppig. Medium body. Lekker, en helaas het enige echt overtuigende bier van De Molen van vandaag.

On tap at Fermentoren, pours a deep dark brown / near-black with a small beige head. Aroma has moderate roast, earthy hops, and a hint of toffee. Flavour is balanced and clean, with medium roast, some earthy piney hops, and a dry toasted finish. Nice balance, but I do want more hops in here. Good.
