We were super honored to host our new friends from the world famous Dutch brewery, De Molen! We decided on a Black IPA, dry hopped with Citra, Amarillo, Mosaic, Simcoe, and then hit it with some Nelson Sauvin Hop Kief from Freestyle Hops. Cheers!

On tap at Fermentoren. Pours dark brown with a beige head. Roasted malts and some bitter pine on the nose. Flavour has roasted malts, some dry pine needles. Body is a bit shallow and the hops are fairly timid, but not bad.

Smooth, slightly roasty and fruity with some floral notes, citrus and grass, hints of bitterness. Okay fruity black IPA.

This beer is a dark brown color with a thick frothy beige head that diminishes gradually to a film. Sticky partial rings of lacing on the glass. The aroma consists of piney hops, roast malt and citrus. Medium body with flavors of piney hop, citrus and chocolate malt. The finish is citrusy hops up front with a roasty malt aftertaste. Solid Black IPA overall.
