Named for the 54 Colorado peaks which tower over 14,000 feet in elevation, our session beer is a spectacular copper hued beauty. The treatment of our water to simulate English hard water and the blending of several specialty malts and hops produce a delicate balance between aromatic maltiness and herbal hops.

Bottle: Poured a clear deep copper color ale with a medium foamy head with average retention and minimal lacing. Aroma of English bitter dry hops is dominating. Taste is a mix between some light caramel malt with some English dry hops. Medium body with some average carbonation. A bit over the op for the style but still enjoyable and easily drinkable.

Smells a little like mild slag. Rather bitter initially, but not over the top. A little rubbery at times. Weirdly savory! Looks like darker ginger ale. Rubber palate carries over to the finish.

Pours a clear dark copper color with a thick and fizzy white head that dissipates rapidly. Spotty lacing. Lightly spiced hops aroma with touches of toasted grain. Medium-bodied and on the carbonated side with piney hops flavor at first, followed by bready malt and grain. The finish is equal parts hops and malt and leaves a residual hoppy bitterness. Overall a decent ESB.

Floral hop with malty bread for aroma. Copper hued it is, and the white head quickly ringed. Medium bodied with almost creamy (mild) carbonation. The floral aspects are strong in the flavor, and there may be some grapefruit citrus. The malt is extremely well balanced with the hop. This may be more English than the English, for the most part. The finish is clean, not at all sweet, and there is some grapefruit hanging around. All in all it’s just delicious. Wonderful in the mouth.
