Can at home, 20th September 2025. Pours thick and black. Aroma is heavy sweet, chocolate, caramel. Taste is very sweet, chocolate and brown sugar, maybe wood notes and liquor. It’s alright, but far too sweet.

440ml can. Pitch black pour, minimal brown head. Aroma of chocolate, bourbon, roast malts. Taste of dark chocolate, bourbon, roast malts, dark fruits, quite sweet with a light bitter finish, quite boozy too. Full bodied, smooth. Really good stuff.

440ml can from Middle Farm, Firle. Poured almost black in colour with little life. The aroma is roasty, vinous, oaky. The flavour is strong sweet, with a rich, silky smooth, dry oaky, buttery caramel, light red berry fruit, warm alcohol bitter palate. Full bodied with flat carbonation.
