A big, bold Imperial Stout brewed with our good friends at 3 Sons Brewery from Dania Beach, Florida. This beer aims to capture the depth and complexity of a barrel aged stout in a fresh beer without any barrel aging, using a blend of innovative barrel-derived extracts, wood additions and micro-oxidation.

Extremely sweet. Big dark malts, mild stewed dark malts. But mostly sugary toffee and dark malts. Novel.

CBJ bottle share, thanks to Cloin for the can. Near opaque dark brown beer, small tan head. Airy smooth palate, fairly dry, decent fine carbonation. Rich dark chocolate malts, quite sweet. Tangy dark fruits, a little fruit liqueur, blackberry liqueur. Mild bitterness. Soft finish. Nice, a bit off the beaten track.
