Sometimes it’s the journey, sometimes it’s the destination. Withing these bottle lies a delightful spirit-elevated blend of fruit, chocolate, wood and more; we had a lot of fun taking this road together with our friends at Fierce Beer. And that has made all the difference.

Naturally, this one is for the fans of our 2022 'Destination Unknown' Cranachan Wee Heavy collab, but lovers of Siren barley wines should not sleep on this release.

375ml bottle. Murky, brown colour with very weak, ruby shimmer and small, frothy, fading, off-white head. BA supported, minimally chocolately, caramel malty and vinous, yeasty fruity, slightly woody aroma, notes of dried fruit, dried berries, blue grapes, some vanilla, oak, whiffs of marmite. Taste is BA supported, sweet-ish, caramel malty, vinous fruity, slightly woody, mildly spicy, notes of blue grapes, red wine, dried fruit, dried berries, some oak, vanilla, Bourbon, a touch of cinnamon, Marsala, plum wine; well hidden alcohol.
Dissolved sugar enriched, watery texture, smooth and soft, minimally cloying palate, fine, dense, soft, still efficacious carbonation.
Rich and multifacetted, balanced, seemingly light, not exactly drinkable but a very easy going sipper - really good.

Bottle at the Munich Brewver Christmas gathering at Jonas's in Garching Friday 28th November 2025, in the company of Jonas and Ursula, I picked this bottle up from Mr Hop, Vernray, Netherlands. Pours dirty puddle brown with a filmy off white head. There's a tart, slightly woody edge, full on the mouth, warming, I like the barrel ageing and this is very much in the vein of a classic Siren barrel aged beer. Good
