Bøgedals brewing method is impressing when it comes to Stouts. The richness and the body that is the result of this inefficient mashing makes excellent Stouts with flavors that just keep evolving. They also added some Older Tripler and OldAle in the fermenting process.

Clear dark brown beer, small creamy beige head, unstable, non adhesive. Aroma: nice roast, chocolate, coffee, some caramel, malty, grains, hay, cow fodder. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: sweet malt, caramel, lots of dark chocolate, nice bitterness, dried fruits. Aftertaste: nice roast, caramel, lots of dried fruits, raisins, figs, nice one. Tasted like more than just a stout...
