Hops are the name of the game with a Double IPA, but we knew we had to take it one step further. With Hop Bullet, we’re using a new technique, hitting the beer with a one-two punch of Magnum hops and lupulin dust—pure, concentrated hop flavor—directly into the tank to emphasize the intense pine and citrus flavors of classic West Coast hops.

Ratebeer punted my rating into /dev/null great! Citrus, classic resin notes, peach, citrus, pine. Medium mellow, chewy body, light citrus peel grit. great middle way between the classics and the modern nonsense.

355ml can. Sweetish, malty and caramely with hints of fruits, grassy hops and earthiness. Stuffy and unbalanced, doesn't feel very fresh.

12 fl. oz. can from Heimathaven, Oldenburg. Hazy golden in the glass, one finger foamy white head. Floral hopy smell, some tropical fruity background. Taste starts with a strong hop bitterness, fruity, pine, burnt malt, licorice. Long lasting bitterness with some honey in the aftertaste.

19.2 oz can. Big green hop smell under the tab. Fresh pine resin and a bit of tropical fruit in the nose as it pours into the glass. Gold beer color with only a slight haze, under a frothy white head. Big IPA taste, yes. But pretty clean is how I might describe it. The hops are powerful, but still pleasant. I get a slight chocolate edge too, who can say if it's just me or the beer? This big can was 2 for $5 at Jewel, so quite a bargain for a big, happy beer.

A very old fashioned IPA. Lots of pine and grapefruit with some stone fruits. Heavy hitting. Pleasant but not inspirational.

330ml bottle at home. Pours a slightly hazy pale gold with a medium off white head. Punchy aroma of grapefruit, mandarin orange, mango, pineapple. Flavour is equally as strong with large tropical fruit notes, hay, slight bit boozy, very slight bit of vanilla.
