In collaboration with Aslin Beer Co., Species X trained its AI sour ale brewing specialist, Darw1n, on Aslin's fruited sour recipes. Darw1n then formulated a new fruited sour ale containing pineapples, blueberries, sea salt, vanilla, and lime zest. It also added lactose, maltodextrin, flaked oats, and a dash of Mosaic hops in the whirlpool. Kveik yeast was used to bring together all the tropical, fruity flavors into a creamy sour ale.
