473ml can from Signor Smith, Helsinki. Poured hazy orange in color with a dense white head. Aroma of lactose, berries, hops and vanilla. Berries, vanilla, lactose and hops. Sweet finish, medium bodied. Way too sweet, overpowering the mosaic here.

20th October 2019
Can. Hazy gold beer, big pale cream colour head. Light palate, smooth and mildly dry, decent fine carbonation. Light malts bring a creamy sweetness that goes well with the obvious vanilla. Cooling piney hops. Mild hop spice. Never too sure about dropping berries into a hoppy beer but the blackberry is soft here and with the cooling pine and vanilla. Modest citrus on the semi dry and vanilla dominated finish. Unusual and I’m not completely sold, but it’s better than I expected.

16 oz. Aroma is blackberries, pepper, vanilla, sulfur. Pours hazy orange with a one finger off white head with decent retention. Taste is unexpectedly moderately bitter and dry, being just a tad sweet, with flavors of berries, vanilla, pepper. Not bad at all, but definitely the least dessert-like and straightforward of the beers I’ve had from this brewery.

Draft at Pour Taproom. Hazy to cloudy amber color with a light reddish hue. Aroma of orange, berries, vanilla. Taste is more sweet than bitter blackberry, orange cream. Strange.

Pounder: Crazy orange and vanilla creme nose with blackberry, cocoa, and subtle scallion accents. Cloudy amber, thin head. Orange and blackberry, vanilla. Full body, easy carbonation. Intense and tangy. Unique flavor combinations work but are still a little strange.

16 ounce can into tulip glass, canned on 7/18/2018. Pours very hazy/cloudy golden orange/amber color with a 1-2 finger dense and rocky off white head with fantastic retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lasts. Thick soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation retaining the cap. Fantastic appearance. Aromas of huge tangerine, orange juice, grapefruit, blackberry, blueberry, lemon, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, guava, citrus peel/zest, light pepper/pine, vanilla, cream, wheat, biscuit dough, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of citrus/fruity/tropical hops, blackberries, vanilla, lactose, and bready malt notes; with big strength. Taste of huge tangerine, orange juice, grapefruit, blackberry, blueberry, lemon, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, guava, citrus peel/zest, light pepper/pine, vanilla, cream, wheat, biscuit dough, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Mild pine, citrus peel/zest, herbal, floral, grassy, spicy bitterness; and slight fruit tang/tartness on the finish. Lingering notes of tangerine, orange juice, grapefruit, blackberry, blueberry, lemon, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, guava, citrus peel/zest, light pepper/pine, vanilla, cream, wheat, biscuit dough, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a while. Amazing complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical hops, blackberries, vanilla, lactose, and bready malt flavors; with a solid malt/bitterness balance, and no cloying/astringent flavors after the finish. Lightly increasing dryness from lingering bitterness. Medium carbonation and medium-full body; with a very smooth, creamy/silky/bready, and lightly sticky mouthfeel that is great. Light lingering resins/rinds near the end of the glass. Minimal warming alcohol for 8.6%. Overall this is an amazing fruited milkshake DIPA! All around incredible complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical hops, blackberries, vanilla, lactose, and bready malt flavors; very smooth and dangerously easy to drink for the ABV, with the mildly bitter/drying finish. Great soft feel, not aggressive on dryness.Amazingly juicy/light dank Mosaic hops with nice Blackberry presence; great wheat, oat, malt, vanilla, and lactose balance; not overly sweet/heavy from lingering bitter dryness. A highly enjoyable offering, and amazing style example.
