Conquest of Bread

We’re not sure how it’s taken this long to bring back this nimble little beverage, but just a few days ago we brewed up our interpretation of the Kvass. This Russian style table beer was brewed with a rustic grain bill of @riverbendmalt. Appalachian grains, a whole heck ton of sourdough loaves courtesy of @craftbakerypensacola, and is currently slowly fermenting away with our house mixed culture. This year’s spin is a wintry take on this historical style. What Craft Bakery ended coming up with was a rye sourdough bread with apples, caraway, dried cherries & golden raisins that was reconstituted in honey. All of this goodness found its way into the mash of the brewing process and will further accentuate the rye base beer constructed for such nimble grandeur.
