King Julius is an American Double IPA brewed to be an exceptionally flavorful, juicy, and hop saturated beer without rough edges or abrasiveness. Its vivid citrus aromas give way to flavors of orange creamsicle, mango smoothie, and a bounty of fresh tropical fruit. We find it to be refined and delicate amid an onslaught of flavor. Originally brewed in 2012, King Julius is our endeavor to marry our past with what we aspire to be in the future.

Can from Matt: pours hazy with a white head. Aroma is loads of orange juice and tangerine. Taste is tangy orange, light bitterness, not too sweet, some malt backbone. Its good, but not superlative.

16oz can at share. Hazy orange golden pour, foamy head. Fruity aroma, citrus, light stone fruit. Taste piles on more citrusy goodness, sweet, juicy, fruity, creamy. Solid through and through. Classic.

Can 17 days old. It pours cloudy cloudy golden with a thick, fluffy white head. The aroma is fresh and juicy, sweet but not overly so, peach, mango, papaya, orange creamsicle, tangelo, floury bread, gummy bears and a touch of greenness. The taste is crispy, firmly dry, touch of green bitterness, weedy, resin, orange, tangerine, grapefruit, mango, peachy, nectarine, weedy, dank, minerality, floury bread and light alcohol with a dry, zesty finish. Medium body and moderate, prickly carbonation. Nice dryness, tropical and citrussy but not sweet. Strikes a nice balance and is dangerously drinkable.
