Peaty Porter Whiskey Barrel
The barrel aging of this mild Peated Porter couldn't have turned out better. When pouring, the aromas such as cocoa, vanilla and dark red fruit meet you. At the first sip, the whiskey barrel with the mild peat character comes to the fore a bit more, after which the honey, cocoa and red fruit flavors come to the fore in the aftertaste, which together gives this a cherry bonbon experience.

330mL bottle. Pours dark brown with a white head. Peaty smoke and roasted malts on the nose, a bit of whiskey barrel on the finish. Flavour has peaty smoke, roasted malts, some coffee, light brown sugar. Fairly light on the palate, but still very well-balanced with lots of smoke. Very nice.
