Here's to the glorious goat! The venerable goat is arguably the Caribbean's most beloved domesticated animal. It's been on the islands as long as the New-Worlders have been, and it's as much a part of Antigua as the sugar mills and beaches. Our pale ale is a great way to start your departure from the routine lager. A very approachable pale ale, it has citrus notes and a nice medium finish, with just a slight bitterness that hints at what the India Pale Ale (IPA) can deliver should you venture do

Pours unclear, darker blonde. Smell is funky, nettles, onions, soup. Taste is sharp, bit bitter, brett. Relatively thin body. Rather dry finish. Not great, but i've had worse.

27/II/20 - sample from Grzesiek79 @ a pretty big tasting for a workday, BB: n/a (2020-168) Thanks to Nisse666 for sharing the sample!

Slightly cloudy beige beer, small creamy irregular white head, little stable, non adhesive. Aroma: funky, lots of brett, malty, grains, bit of a meaty character, fruity, sweet malts. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: malty, grains, pretty bitter, little funky, fruity, citrus, brett notes, soft acidity. Aftertaste: more of the same.

23/2/2020. Sample courtesy of Nisse666, cheers Thomas! Pours clear golden with a small white head. Aroma of tropical fruits, sweet malt, hops, citrus, grass and a touch herbal. Medium sweetness and moderate bitterness. Moderate body. Quite pleasant.

Has good white foam on a foggy yellow body. The aroma is strong hops, some vague malt. Flavour is bright pale ale hops, soft malt. Mouthfeel is refreshing but also not much oiliness. This is decent nonetheless.

Small sample. A hazy golden beer. Aroma of grassy and floral hops, herbs and spicy hops. Taste of soft tart pale malt, herrbs, citrus, moderate bitterness.

Country #195. Many thanks to Mariusz for this sample. Fresh smooth beginning with pine and resin. Lots of grain with a subtle sharp hoppy flavour. Fruity with sourish hints, refreshing with a dry bitter finish.
