Brewery draught, 7/13/25.
Dark, clear, with a light, tan, well-retained head.
Nose has some light bean and hazelnut. Or old coffee, if you will. But only a smidge, and is otherwise fruity, toasty, chocolatey and showing a touch of caramel sweetness to balance. Not a lot of cherry in the nose.
Toasty and lightly roasty with chewy cacao-like notes and a blossoming floral and lightly sweet cherry that mixes with the dark malt nicely. Residual sugar helps alleviate some of the dark malt toasty/roasty attributes and you do get a nice caramel-cherry-chocolate flavor lingering.
