My story began in Cherves during confinement, the desire to make my own beer: I know beer and "we" like it! At the end of it, I wanted to test beer making, like a sorcerer's apprentice. So I invested in the necessary equipment for the production of 20 liters. A first step towards my professional project...

That's when I took on this crazy project, to open a micro-brewery in central Pictavia (there must be a map where this region exists).
The administrative procedures are also linked, the company is created in December 2020 and the first beers sold in January 2021.

The pico-brewery is bought and built to increase the production capacity, 50 liters then 100 liters for each brew. Meeting Poitevin brewers and training at Brewsociety confirmed my desire to open a micro-brewery.

During the development of the project, I had the chance to meet the municipality of Vouillé and I quickly felt their enthusiasm for discovering and tasting a beer from Vouglais. Following the enthusiastic support of the conurbation, Brasserie X Poitou moved in early 2022 to Vouillé.
