After a doctorate in neurobiology in Montpellier, Sylvain Accart created his company and developed a whole range of beers. Installed on the ground floor of a villa in Gignac, Sylvain Accart's microbrewery started operations in May 2016.

La Bière du Docteur offers a range of 6 beers with distinct aromas and personalities. A richness obtained by a rigorous selection of malts and hops as well as a brewing process which takes its time, neither pasteurized nor filtered.

In 2020 thanks to new investments the brewery was able to obtain new equipment which made it necessary to move to new, larger premises at the Cave Coopérative
in Vendémian.
