Description
Brewing started in April 1991 following the purchase of plant and brands in 1988 from Axminster Brewery. Trade expanded steadily including the purchase of a tied house. Brewing ceased in 1996 and for a time a number of other breweries including Mill Brewery and Juwards Brewery brewed their beer. Brewing restarted later in 1996 and the name and brands of the now-closed Combe Brewery were acquired. However suddenly in early 1997, the brewery closed
