Description
The Yasumoto family has been rooted in this area for so long that it is said to date back to the Heian period.
The origin of the name of the brand "Hakugakusen" is as follows.
Hakusen" refers to the fact that Hakusan subterranean water is used as brewing water.
Gaku" refers to the fact that the sake is brewed in Togo, Fukui Prefecture, which faces the mountains.
Sen" expresses our wish that people will gather together like a mountain.

Hakugaku Sen's goal is to create a "solitary sake for dining" by focusing on junmai (pure rice) sake made from suitable rice produced in Fukui Prefecture.
In pursuit of the ideal flavor, Hakugakusen continues to evolve in its own unique way, repeating challenges and improvements on a daily basis.
