Heiwa Shuzo (KID)

in Wakayama-shi, Wakayama, Japan 🇯🇵

Established in 1928

Description
The brewery was named “Heiwa,” or peace for their desire for world peace after the destruction of World War II. Built inside and around a 500-year-old temple in scenic Wakayama, the brewery is surrounded by mountains and abundant natural spring water. Heiwa Brewery is also famous for fruit infused sake made from plums, tangerines, and yuzu grown in their own orchards in the surrounding hillsides. We want to bring the climate of Kishu to you. We want to convey the charm of sake to those who are not familiar with sake. With these thoughts in mind, we created "Kido", which has a pleasant and gentle taste, by expressing the soft and clean water of Wakayama.
