33cl bottle. Dark reddish almost black with off-white head. Aroma is sweet. Flavour is sweet coffee, moka. The final long sweet. Medium carbonation and light body.

500ml can. Pours light gold with a medium head. Aroma is corn with some honey. Taste is some very light malt. Really watery. Not bad, just no real taste at all.

Can 50cl. Blonde with white head that quickly dissipates. Aroma is malted. Taste very light sweet, almost sweet. Light body with average carbonation.

Bottle 400ml. clear glass @ home.[ Courtesy of Ole ]. Clear dark brown colour with a small to average, frothy, fair lacing, fully diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy sweet candy licorice - laber larver. Flavour is heavy sweet with a long duration, laber larver, candy, sweet laber larver. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20110814]

Brotiger Antrunk mit leichter Süße. Das Himbeeraroma tritt nun ein und wirkt zwar seh süß und künstlich, dadurch, dass das Aroma aber nicht sehr stark ist, sind die Nebeneffekte erträglich. Süffig, zum Ende überlagert die Herbe die Süße, hier scheint das Malzbier mit dem Himbeerton nicht harmonisch zu sein, es entsteht ein bitterer Fehlton. Trinkbare Sommererfrischung. 8/6/7/7/12/7

Bottle. It’s a clear one, chestnut colored and topped by a dense, creamy, finger-thick beige head. Rather worty on the nose with dried fruits to fill in the blanks, making it a rather one-tracked beer. The same goes for the flavor, but there’s some licorice too, sweet both initially and in the end. Smooth, yet sticky on the palate. Overall, too sweet, and definitely not my kind of beer. 110204

33cl bottle from the Wine Company, Slough. Weird, but actually rather enjoyable. This is definitely best considered as a soft drink in the "iced coffee" style, but nevertheless some of the malt character comes through. It’s a attractive deep brown colour with a hint of purple shining through; very sweet with caramel, coffee, and malt flavours and a hint of chocolate. Defintely worth a try.

Canned. Clear yellow, minimal head. Fruity and sloppy. Appley and fairly light bodied. The alcohol is well hidden, but I don’t know in what, as it is completely empty. No bitterness. Industrial swill.

Bottle. Black with a thin head, no great aroma. Very sweet with a syrupy texture. No life at all
