Bottle from a supermarket in Krumlov. Looks simple but okay. Beer in the glass with a small head. Starts mild but not washy, modest dry. Background a bit moldy. Finish with some metallical hints. Okay.

Pours dark brown with a reddish tint around the edges. Medium beige head with fair retention. Stringy lacing. Light roasted malt and bread in the nose, with touches of fruit. Medium (bordering thin at times) smooth body with sweet caramel malt flavor along with dry fruit and rye. The finish is short and fruity with a lingering sweetness. Solidly average Dunkel all around.

0,5 l can by my friends Czechs. Yellow colored with some white head. Nice malty aroma, some fruits maybe. Flavor well balanced not bitter at all as it states in commercial. As all Czech pilseners, palate very nice. I could drink a whole casket. Good beer, but there are surely better from that great beercountry.

Draught. Golden colour, nice creamy head. Aroma is mainly malts, hops and some slight hints of fresh grass. Flavour very much the same. Quite pleasant palate though. Not very interesting, but does it’s work a refreshment.

(Bottle, Monk’s Café, Stockholm) Mahogany brown colour with huge, beige head, leaving some lacing. Malty, rather sweet nose with notes of dried fruit, brown sugar, caramel and wort bread. Malty, grainy taste with sweetish notes of brown sugar and dark rye bread. Not very bitter, slightly below medium body, rather sweet. Very tasty considering the low abv. Nice.

Bottled. A golden beer with a nice cream colored head. The aroma is sweet with strong notes of hops, but also notes of caramel - very inviting. The flavor is sweet malty with strong notes of hops and caramel, the mouthfeel is very crisp. Towards the end the hops gives it a note of straw to go along with the long lasting bitter finish.

Canned. Pale golden, brief head. Light hay aroma. Sweet with clean hard mouthfeel, faint hay flavour, quick bitter finish. What used to be a fine beer full of character has been turned into a dull industrial lager by the modernizations of the brewery.
