Welcome to Bend Brewing Co. We were established in 1995, and are the second oldest brew pub in Bend, Oregon. We have a rich history of award winning craft beer brewed at our landmark location in Downtown Bend.

Tap at Bend Brewing Co, Bend, 23/05/13. Clear chestnut brown with a thin beige head that clears edgeward. Nose is dark malts, fruit, toffee. Taste comprises dark malts, touch of toffee, dark fruits, light spice. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation. Boring.

Tap at Bend Brewing, Bend, 23/05/13. Clear golden with a thin white head. Nose is pale malts, light citrus, caramel, summer fruits. Taste comprises light malt, lemon, caramel, vague hops. Medium bodied, fine carbonatin, crisp finish. Refreshing APA but a little bland and not much in the way of hops.

Tap at Bend Brewing, Bend, 23/05/13. Listed as ’Eclipse CDA’ @ 7.5% ABV. Almost opaque mahogony brown with a medium sized light tan head. Nose is hops, pine, jammy fruits, grapefruit, trace of mint leaf. Taste comprises hops, pine, bitter grapefruit, mineral tones, brown sugar. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, hop infused finale with lingering mineral notes. Solid enough CDA.

Tap at Bend Brewing, Bend, 23/05/13. Clear pale golden with a thin white head. Nose is pale malts, grass, citrus. Taste comprises lemon, touch of caramel, pale malt, grass, light cereals. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, crisp and dry in the finish. A decent pils, refreshing on the beer patio and good to break up the stronger beers on the tasting flight.

Tap at Bend Brewing Co, Bend, 23/05/13. Very dark mahogony brown with a thin tan head. Nose is on the thin side, light roast, biscuit, dark toffee. Taste comprises light roast, toffee, sugars. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, light roast finish. Sub average - on the thin side all round, aroma, flavour and feel.

Tap (Nitro) at the brewpub in Bend, 23/05/13. Mid black with a good sized tan head. Nose carries a good coffee hit, roast malt, light chocolate and mineral notes. Taste comprises coffee cake, brown sugars, roast malt. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, bitter roast in the finish. Decent tackle.

Tap at Bend Brewing Co, 23/05/13. Very lightly hazed pale golden with a thin white head. Nose is pale malt, grass, citrus. Taste is pretty bland, wheat, lemon, light grass, touch of caramel. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Pretty poor stuff, glad RB has the style as a wheat ale cos this ain’t no hefe !

Nitro sample at the brewpub. Pours opaque brownish-black with a medium creamy tan head that recedes gradually. Patchy lacing on the glass. Aroma of roasted coffee and malt. Light-bodied with flavors of black coffee, malt and a bit of dark chocolate. The finish is bittersweet mocha. Decent overall.

Sample at the brewpub. The beer is a dark brown color with a medium thin and creamy tan head that diminishes slowly. Rings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of roast malt, coffee and hops. Medium body with a roasty character and flavors of chocolate malt, coffee and hops. The finish is sweet with a malty aftertaste. Above average overall.

Sample at the brewpub. Clear yellow color with a medium thin white head that evaporates steadily. Spotty lacing on the glass. Aroma of hops and grain. Light-bodied with flavors of mildly bitter herbal hops and bready malt. The finish is short with a lightly hopped aftertaste. Pretty average overall.
