Draft - Hoppy grapefruit aroma. Clear orange with a rich lasting head. Grapefruit dominates all the way through along with a bitterness that doesn’t linger. Very crisp, nice served on the cool side.

22 oz. bottle, pours a pretty clear mahogany with a small beige / tan head. Aroma is very caramely, with toffee, brown sugar, molasses and medium-to-high sweetness. Flavour of caramel, dark fruits, brown sugar, a noticeable hoppy kick, which finishes semi-sweet and with a medium astringency. Very well-blended and enjoyable.

Bottle shared by Jeff, thanks! Pours a dark brown/black color with a medium tan head. The aroma is sweet cocoa and cherries. The flavor is light roast and chocolates with lots of sour and sweet cherries. A bit candy like at times. Enjoyable.

2011 Pro-Am Table at GABF on Saturday. Pours with a black body with a tan head that slowly fades. Aromas of coffee, roast, chocolate, biscuity, chalky and maybe a bit of barrel. Flavors are roasty, bitter, dry ashy and chocolate. Medium bubbles and dry. Very roasty with a little bit lacking on the body.

22 oz. bottle, split with Matts_Property, pours a hazy orange with a small white head. Aroma of tropical fruits, piney & resinous hops, butter and substantial caramel malt backing. Flavour is more subdued on the fruits, with more herbal / hempy hops, some pine and resin, with buttery malts. Beautifully balanced and finishes with herbally hops.

On tap at the brewery. Deep brown with a brown head. Aromas of roasted malt. Some chocolate on the palate but a thin-medium mouthfeel led to a quick fall-off of the flavor.

On tap at the brewery. Chestnut and clear, with a light taupe head. Lots of great malt here and some complex dark fruit. This was easily my favorite beer of the sampler.

On tap at the brewery. This beer has a great aroma and the Cascade is prevalent. Deep amber with some haze and a white, well carbonated head. A nice taste, but the hops are not there as much as hoped and the malt has a bit of a kick midway through the palate.

On tap at the brewery. Pale gold with white head. The malt lends a chewy palate, but i did not get much banana and clove as i would expect for the style.
