Reviewed from notes. Thank you, Haley for the can.
This was poured into a tulip.
The appearance was a slightly hazy burnt orange color with a one finger white foamy head that dissipated within about a minute, light speckled lacing stuck around the glass nicely.
The smell started off with a big blast of grapefruit, orange peel and pine that led to a somewhat resinous behavior to the aroma.
The taste took the citrus flavors to town and amplified the pine a bit.
On the palate, this one sat about a medium on the body with a slick resinous aftertaste that led to the same kind of finish.
Overall, this was a very good offering that I wouldn’t mind having again.

I am guessing that this was infected. From the February 2014 3R6P tasting +++ Sampled from a 22 oz brown bottle this beer poured a black color with a huge foamy dark brown head that lingered and left a bit of lacing. The aroma was sour and tart with some Sweettart candies and red wine. The flavor was sour and tart with notes of chocolate, toasty malts and port wine. Long sour port wine and toasty malt finish. Moderately full bodied. Ok.
