50 cL bottle. Pours clear and golden orange with a small white head. Aroma is toasted malty, breadish and light caramelish. Toasted malty, bitter and toffee. Mild bitter, toasted malty into the finish.

Bottle from Systembolaget, e-order in January 2013. (labeled as Runöl Mörk) Hazy brownish/red with a fairly large head. Sweet aroma and taste of malt, toffee, syrup, some metal and bread. A bit thin. Drinkable but not that exciting.

50 cl bottle ordered to systembolaget in Mölndal. BB 2013-07-05, consumed on October 23, 2012.As "Runöl Mörk Lager".Clear oxidized copper color, lasting off-white head. Fairly subtle sweet, earthy, malty, grainy scent, hints of rubber and some apples in the far back. Malty, sweet, grainy, caramel taste. Sweet, cream, some metal aftertaste. Very drinkable, though rather mild and gentle. Medium mouthfeel, both smooth and a bit spritzy, ambivalent here. Medium low bitterness. Perhaps boring by some, and it doesn’t rise too much to the occasion, but well made and very drinkable. Got a bit scared by the initial phenolic characted in the scent, but the beer held up.
