Now named box of chocolate. Pour is a brown with a large tan head. Aroma is all things chocolate with some fruity yeast. Flavor is again mostly chocolate with some Belgain sugar and lots of booze. They got the chocolate and Belgian quad thing right but this does not hide the alcohol well and i would have given it a better score if it did.

Bottle from a trade with drfabulous. Pours clear light amber color with thin white head. Aromas of corriander and orange peel. Sweet fruity flavor, doughy yeast and some spices. Some corriander also. Medium body with moderate carbonation. Quite an interesting brew. Smells like a witbier but tastes like a Belgian tripel. Thanks Jeff.

Bomber from Wine & Cheese in Clayton, Mo. Pours black with a 3 finger foamy dark tan head. Smells like burnt malt. Med body. Flavor is burnt malt with some chocolate and coffee. Fairly smooth. Drinks well. Going well with an artisanal choc chip cookie.

Pour is a black with a small tan head. Aroma is deffinatly all whiskey with a little oak and vanilla. Flavor has a more minute whiskey with more of a roasted malt and a decent amount of the oak. I was hoping for more of the whiskey that i got in the aroma to show up in the flavor but that was my only knock against this one. I did not know this was 10% till i saw it on here.

Bomber from Wine & Cheese in Clayton, MO. Pours dark ruddy amber with a foamy tan head. Aroma is lightly spicey. Med body/sharp, frothy carb. Flavor is roast caramel, but this is not sweet, and the malt is strongly offset by spice. If that’s from the hop mix, it’s a very good job.

Pour is a nice dark brown with a small tan head. Aroma is a very nice sweet malt with some brown sugar and molasses. Flavor is all things dark fruit and earthy malt. Some brown sugar is left on the tounge as this goes down. For 11% or whatever this is, the alcohol is no where to be found. A very flavorful and drinkable barleywine

Bottle from a trade with phaleslu. Pours cloudy pale brownish orange color with thin white head. Aromas of corriander and orange peel. Sweet orange flavor with some wheat and corriander. Light to medium body with a crisp mouthfeel. Thanks Peter.

22 oz bottle purchased at The Wine and Cheese Place in St Louis, Missouri. Pour is a hazed slightly dark golden with some settling building up a 1/2 inch white head. Head falls quickly. Aroma is a soft and fresh peach fruit sweetness. Clean, though not terribly complex. The taste follows, clean peach fruit, with a touch of malt and wheat and a benign clean finish. Way in the back I pick up some grassy coriander. Palate is medium bodied, slick, and low carbonation. The sweetness lingers pleasantly in the aftertaste. Not really a typical Wit, in my opinion, but still fresh and enjoyable.

22 oz bottle purchased at The Wine and Cheese Place in St Louis, Missouri. Pour is a slightly hazed darker amber golden with a one inch off white head that is fully formed, and falls slow with pretty lacing. Aroma is fresh and clean malt - mild nuttiness, along with baking chocolate and a citrus in the back. Taste is the malt up front, full and nutty, sweet and finally a touch of citrus. Nice balance and blend of flavors, though nothing terribly complex (which made it smooth and drinkable). Palate is medium bodied, soft carbonation and a sweeter lingering finish. Unfiltered for certain. Nice amber.

22 oz bottle purchased at The Wine and Cheese Shop in St Louis. Pour is an unfiltered looking golden light orange with a big, three inch well formed off white head. Head falls slowly with nice lacing. Nice looking beer. Aroma is a bright, fresh citrus hoppiness - more orange fruit then peel. Along with the hop is a pleasant toasty malt. Straight forward, clean and nicely balanced nose. Taste is the nose, though the balance is a bit more towards the malt initially. The hops pick up with a drying bitterness in the finish. The aftertaste features a nice mineral earthiness. In the very late aftertaste, there is some dirtiness, though this does not detract much. Palate is medium, unfiltered, a bit on the low side of carbonation though this led a fuller body, which worked for the beer. This is a nice IPA.
