Skol is the lower-alcohol drink for people who actually need to be functional after lunch.... Very yellow, very watery. Nothing special but it’s refreshing when you’re drowing in your own sweat at midday in Kinshasa.

Getreidig-metallerner Geruch. Getreidiger und wässriger, minimal herber Antrunk. In weiten Teilen lässt sich das Bier nur als wässrig beschreiben, das malzmuffige Aroma macht das Bier kaum besser. Im nachgeschmack minimal bitter. Test vom 29.6.2007, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 6,4,5,4,6,4 - 4,45

Bottled. Lightly hazy pale golden, rich airy head. Buttery nose. Sweet and mildly malty with light-medium body and rounded mouthfeel. No bitterness. Very similar to Guiluxe, but perhaps even more buttery and slightly lighter in body.

[Bottled] Pale yellow, no head. Papery metal aroma. Sweet and mellow with unclean vegetable flavour. No bitterness. An awful excuse for a beer.

Pale blond color. Another ordinary Pale Lager, but the finish is softer than usual.

A pale yellow beer with a white head. The aroma is of cardboard combinede with notes of malt, and the flavor also leaves a note so licking on a piece of cardboard with faint notes of malt.
