Sample at Tap & Mallet in Rochester. Clear orange color with a thin off-white head that dissipates quickly to a wispy film. Spotty lacing. Malty aroma with slight fruit and hops in the background. Light-bodied with flavors of caramel malt, fruit and mild earthy hops. The finish is sweet with a short malty aftertaste. Slightly above average overall.

Sample at Tap & Mallet in Rochester. Clear pale golden color with a thin white head that evaporates quickly to a wispy film. Spotty lacing on the glass. Fruity aroma with mild hops in the background. Light body with flavors of grainy malt, fruit and grassy hops. The finish is fruity up front with a sweet malt aftertaste. Slightly above average overall.

On draught at Tap & Mallet in Rochester. Clear dark amber color with a thin white head that burns away quickly to a film. Spotty lacing on the glass. Aroma of grassy hops, fruit and malt. Light-bodied with flavors of herbal hops, sweet malt and slight fruit. The finish is mildly bitter with a short grassy hops aftertaste. Decent overall.

Bottled. A hazy dark red beer with a thin off-white head. The aroma has notes of straw, caramel and wet hay. The flavor is sweet with notes of brettanomyces, malt, bread, and caramel, leading to a lightly tart finish. I don’t know if it is supposed to be like this, but it’s not too bad.
