Cloudy deep blond color; thin creamy head. Light malt aroma, very light fruits (apricots). Malt flavor, some residual sweetness, light oranges, orange jam and citrus fruits; the hopping shows an American touch, and light sweet spices. Correct bitterness. Nice.

Muddy amber color. Perfumy aroma, with malt, but yeast too, soap. All confirmed by the flavor: good malty body, but a bit metallic and soapy, at least with a strong bitterness. Maybe the fermentation needs some tuning.

A hazy dark amber beer with an orange head. The aroma is acidic combined with a weird herbal note - maybe it is the ruta. The flavor is sweet malty with a strong herbal accent, and a thick body.

(Bottle 75 cl) Pours a slightly hazy dark amber with a decent, retentive, beige head. Spicy, somewhat herbal nose. Medium-bodied with a solid amount of roasted malt and an underlying tartness. Sweetish with herbal accents and a flavour of earth and kava roots. Highly unusual. 070606

An unclear brown beer with a huge brown head. The aroma is sweet malty with a slight acidic tinge. The flavor is sweet malty with light notes of chocolate, leading to a slightly burnt aftertaste.

(Bottle 50 cl) Comes as "Malthus All Black". Slightly hazy dark brown - close to black - with a neat, creamy, beige head. Vinous, complex nose with a whiff of tartness. Medium body with some accents of dried fruits - raisins in particular. Weak tartness overall. Discreet bitterness. Quite pleasant but too mellow to be a Schwarzbier. 160206

Cloudy dark chestnut color; small head. Common chocolatey lean beer; with very light ruta aroma and stronger ruta flavor; the ruta leaves a light coffee touch, a bit herbal. Thin final. Not bad, but the ruta is disturbing in a beer.

Dark amber color; beautiful creamy head. Wonderful aroma, explosion of malt and caramel, nuts, spices, light smokeyness, sweet wood. Very good taste, where the malt is almost fruity, and with the similar elements as in the aroma; maybe a bit thin at the end. Excellent!

Muddy amber color. Nice malty and hoppy aroma, balanced. Good structure, quite malty, the hop is very aromatic and gives both some light fruitness and sweet caramel. Smooth, perfumy and pleasant.

Cloudy amber color. Delicate hop and malt aroma. Good mouthfeel, some malt flavor, caramel, too much carbonation. Strong final bitterness.

Beautiful amber color; creamy head. Very nice aroma, well hoppy, almost fruity (Fuggles or Goldings?). The body is a bit more structured than their lighter beers, with some sweetness, not enough malt, correct bitterness, caramel; not enough hop resins in the taste.
