Pour is a clear brown with a small white head. Aroma is a slight coffee with a roast from the malt or maybe the coffee. Flavor is more of the coffee. Not a beer where the coffee is super heavy and I don’t think this is cold pressed but more of a background roasted coffee. With the neutral flavor of a cream ale coffee kind of works and gives this style a kick in the ass.

Keg at Oliver Twist, Stockholm. Cloudy amber, mid sized. Strange aroma of green apples with notes of citrus. Sweet with full body and clean, rounded mouthfeel. Fruity with crystal malt character. Green apples, notes of bread and citrus. Long but balanced bitterness.

Bottle. Amber beer with a cream head. Grapefruit and pine aroma with perfume and tropical fruit. Caramel and grapefruit flavor with pine. Medium bodied. Good bitterness. Caramel and tropical fruit linger with grapefruit and pine.

On tap at The Perch, pours a hazy bright orange with a small beige head. Aroma is quite earthy and herbal in the hop department, with a chewy bready malt base. Flavour is along the same lines, with a herbal and earthy hop quality, some dirtiness from the rye and bready malt on the underside. Not overly impressive, but nothing off about it. It's okay.

At Harry’s Hofbrau. Part of a Mike Hess event. Citrus and dankish. Hazy yellow. Not bad.

Tap at Harry’s Hofbrau. Hazy gold with moderate white head. Lots of spice here on both flavor and aroma, with earth interplayed.

Pour is a cloudy orange with a small white head. Aroma is a minor fruity hop but way more of a spicy rye with some earthy English malt. Flavor is some tangy hop but then more malt than hops comes thru. Rye and again I get something like a maris otter. It’s not a huge presence but I can detect it. There is no canned on date but the hops may have faded a bit and more of the malt comes out. Still this is not some sweet malt bomb, the malt is earthy and dry and this beer has a super soft mouthfeel. Solid.
