Bottle @ Fastelavnssmagning 2012, Ulfborg. Pours clear pale yellow with bubbles on top. Extremely soda pop sweet. Quite alcoholic. Apple and pear. Lots of almond. Nasty shit!

Bottled. A pale yellow cider with a thin white head. The aroma has notes of apples and alcohol. The flavor is sweet with notes of almonds, apple juice, and alcohol, leading to a dry finish. Odd.

Bottle. A clear one, pale golden in color and with a small, white head initially. The aroma is rather alcoholic, with hermetic apples and some notes of toffee. Dry, smooth and lighlty warming on the palate. Sweetness, apples and a touch of caramel in the flavor. Sometimes I don’t really understand what people are thinking when they make drink or food, I find it hard to believe there’s people liking this one. 120217

PET bottle (from Alko, Vaasa). Extremely pale grayish yellow colour with no head. Aroma is sweet sugary apple juice with some mild vinegary notes. Flavour is very alcoholic, along with some sweet sugary apples. Alcohol is way too strong in the flavour to make this even somewhat enjoyable...

Not as sweet as more commercial sahti, really strong but that doesn't affect the flavour. Complex with sourish banana flavours. Delicious and very different!
