Pours almost black with a small tan head. Mostly lacing. Aroma: roasted malts, black currant and mild citrus. Taste: citrus and roasted malts. Tidy.

On tap at Brewers Bar Bar - Tredje Långgatan, pours a clear amber orange with a small beige head. Nose is authentically British, with bready malt, toasted caramel, and a light fungal character. Flavour is much the same, with bready malt, mushroomy notes, and light toasted caramel. Dry, fungal, bready finish. Simple but appropriately made.

On tap at Haket, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma has medium roasted malt and light cola. Flavour has medium roast, a little cola, and some residual sugars. Not a particularly complex or deep malt character, but it’s put together reasonably well. Solid.

On tap at Haket, pours a clear pale yellow with a medium white head. Aroma has lots of dry toasted grains, plenty of spicy Saaz, and crisp crackery notes. Flavour is dry, spicy, and grainy, with a nice bitter Saaz expression, toasted grains, and crackery notes. Finished spicy, crisp and bitter. Very good.

On tap at Malmö Brewing. Pours black with a beige head. Dry roasted malts and dark chocolate on the nose. Flavour is dry and roasty with a solid chocolate component. Nice.

(Draught at Akkurat, Stockholm, 25 March 2025) Black colour with creamy, beige head. Malty, roasted nose with chocolate, pine needles, citrus and black bread. Malty, roasted taste with notes of black coffee, chocolate, grapefruit, pine needles, mint and a generous roasty/piney bitterness. More than medium body, quite dry. Well made and hoppy porter, leaning a bit in the black IPA direction. Very nice.
