This was poured into a tulip because I thought this was a Belgian ale.
The appearance was a hazy sort of copper color with a finger’s worth of quickly dissipating head. Mild stringy lace.
The aroma had some apricot, dough/white bread, light hay/grassiness, some bubblegum and a touch of herbal quality underneath.
The flavor was moderately malty sweet with the apricot super sweet and the grassiness coming across really dry. Apricot sweet aftertaste flowing into the finish.
The palate was about medium bodied with a decent sessionability about it. Carbonation felt fine. ABV felt fine.
Overall, I wanted to like this one, probably based on the idea, but somehow seemed like the apricot didn’t want to blend as well in the flavor. Also, I missed the memo - there was coriander supposed to be in this?

The appearance was to the lighter side of gold with a slight transparency about it. Quickly dissipating little white cap of a head. Mild lace.
The aroma had a nice blend of soft sweet biscuits, white bread, mild grassy hops, little bit of earthiness. Ended with a little bit of butterscotch.
The flavor cued up the sweetness of the malts to subtly shake in a little bit of spice from the earthiness. Aftertaste was subdued semi-sweet malts. Finish was malty.
The palate was almost medium bodied with a pretty good sessionability about it. Carbonation felt good and fairly low key. ABV felt good.
Overall, pretty good Maibock, I say and would have again.

Keg at the Bethlehem brewery. Dark brown, red highlights, large creamy brown head, good retention. Aroma of bourbon, vanilla, chocolate. Taste is raisin, booze, chocolate, vanilla, mild roast. Thin.

Keg at Bethlehem Brew Works. Clear amber, large creamy tan head, good retention. Aroma of toffee, soy, cherries, clove, ginger. Taste is gingerbread, caramel, toffee, hints of cherry. Medium bodied, oily, a bit of booze. Medium bodied.
