Hazy dark brown. Very nice aroma, changing: roasted malt, cardboard, nuts, marzipan. Very good body, equilibrated, really in the middle between a Stout and an Imperial Stout. Just missing some better hop character and fruitness, but a rarity in Switzerland!

2006-01-20, Batch #9, bbd 11.2001, 5 years old, 7-3-6-3-14=33
Extremely lively bottle; muddy dark amber color. Strong aroma of chocolate, some mold, light sourness. The body became thinner in the years, yet quite balanced, a bit more complex than it used to be, with a light sourness. Interesting ageing experiment.
2003-01-16, Batch #15, 7-3-6-3-14=33
Cloudy amber color, poor head. Nice aroma, but simple: malt, some hop, caramel. Ordinary amber, without originality and a real character. Reasonable body strength, some residual sweetness at the end. Ordinary palate.

Blond color, nice perlage but poor head. Very light malt aroma. Poor taste, too weak, watery; lemony. Simple final, pretty dry. Conceived as an alternative for the local mass beer Valaisanne, this is the only goal achieved by this simple one.

Reddish brown. Neutral aroma. Light bodied. Discrete notes of peat and spices. Slightly roasty. Medium bitterness. I light but interesting and refreshing ale.

Pale yellow, hazy. Acidic nose. Light body, funky blue cheese tone, a bit thin, but rather refreshing.

Light blond wheat ale; too much head. Fresh aroma, citrusy. Some sweetness and some hop, no malt taste, no wheat beer specificity. Ordinary palate, poor, a bit disappointing.
