Deep black porter with a thin moka head. No aroma, no chocolates, no nothing. In mouth, chocolate malt, with rather cloying fruitiness. Short and light watery bodied beer. On tap at the CNY Brewfest 2006.

Dark amber color with a thin white head. Sweet malt aroma overpowered by corn and wheat. Sweet corn flavors dominate.

Dark cherry color with a light fully diminishing off-white head. Grainy aroma and a malty flavor. A good deal better than i’d normally expect of Yuengling.

Boy, moving from Anheiser Busch to Yuengling... err, I mean from St Louis to PA, is a nice change. As far as macro brews go, this is one of the better ones... certainly beating the pants off any AB products that you can buy anywhere. Aroma is a littel grainy and sweet. Appearance-wise, you might actually think this was beer rather than urine. Nice amber color, small head that disappears. Flavor is sweet and watery with definite grain sweetness. Refreshing, but not substantial.

A nice beer at a nice price, at least compared to other more common "popular" (which I mean more common) beers that are out there. Nice light taste.

A mild hop character with strong corn and chemical characteristics as well. Light red color leads you to believe it will be better than most; and it is, by a hair.

While I have had the traditional lager countless times this is a beer that I have only had a few. Probably because the tan portion is the premium beer not the traditional lager - which would probably make a much nicer brew. Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a dark brown color with a small tan head. The aroma was slightly sweet but otherwise fairly typical macro scent. The flavor is a mix of some light sweet malts and sour tang. Nothing much going on here but drinkable.

The first thing you notice is the big carbonation, especially for a porter. Malt aroma. Taste of roasted malt, slight chocolate, smoke and coffee. But mostly fizziness. Nothing special.

on tap-poured a white head that reduced moderately. Color an amber, nice taste. This could be a regular, although I have been using Yuengling Premium as one of my regulars.

12 oz can-Pours a pale gold, with a nice white head. Taste is nice and crisp. Good level of carbonation. Overall a nice pale beer.
