Hazy mahogany with a medium beige head. sweet aroma with roasted malt, caramel and rye bread. Flavour had roasted malt, caramel, rye bread and vague hops. Finished sweet.

Bottled (thanks Bov!). Deep amber colour, small white bubbly and airy head. Aroma is berries, sweet malts and also some slight burnt notes. Flavour is sweet caramel, crystal malts and also some mild wooden and grassy bitter notes. Quite refreshing, even though it’s a bit sweet.

Bottled (BB 06/2009). Dark brown color, small off-white head. Caramelly, a bit artifical sweetened aroma, some toasted notes. A bit thin palate. Some caramel, cardboard, light grassy note. Feels industrial.

Bottled (thanks Bov!). Golden colour, small white head. Aroma is grainy, hoppy, caramel and even mild alcoholic sweetness. Flavour is grainy, saltwatery, quite sweet malty as well as some grassy bitterness. A bit like a boosted up big brother to the Eggerli Light.

Bottled (thanks Bov!). Golden colour, mediumsized white fluffy head that leaves some lace. Aroma is cardboard, grains, some herbal notes as well as mild saltwatery notes. Flavour is grainy, rubbery and quite papery dry.

Bottle, 5.2%. Aroma of old fruit, slightly farty. Clear golden colour. White head. The flavour starts off vinous, then turns more fruity. Citric finish, not very exciting.
