Bottled@Yespr. Reddish amber colour, no head. Aroma is spices, honey, dark syrup, some spices and mild sweet wooden notes. Flavour is a very nice mix of honey, spices, alcohol and wood.

Bottled. An amber mead. The aroma has notes of almonds and honey - too strong on the almonds for my liking - almonst like marzipan. The flavor is extremely sweet with very strong notes of almonds - lending it notes of marzipan, but also medium notes of honey and spices, leading to a dry alcholic finish. Too much almonds for me.

Bottled. A dark nut-brown mead with a bubbly brown head. The aroma has strong notes of spices (among them cardemomme) and honey as well as notes of perfume, flowers, and tobacco. The flavor is very sweet with strong notes of spices and honey as well as notes of flowers, alcohol, wood, and lemons, leading to a dry alcohol finish, where the alcohol leaves a burn in the throat.

Bottle 500ml.Light unclear medium amber orange color with virtually none head. Aroma is moderate to light heavy honey, marzipan, rum truffel. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet with a average to long duration, perfumed, truffel, spicy. Body is medium, texture is syrupy, carbonation is flat, finish feel is moderate alcoholic. [20100409]

Flavor is heavy sweet and light to moderate bitter with a long duration, spices, raisin, christmas pudding. Dark mahogany color; it even has some sparse bubbles. The aroma is not preferred by me: Body Shop-like, soap, old lady perfume, herbs. Sweet flavor, caramel, some honey, herbal digestive. Not bad, but the herbs cover the possible beauty of a mead.

Hazy dark amber color. Very strange Mead: it has, both in the aroma and flavor, a strong presence of almond (marzipan), cherry kernels (that may be responsible for that) and flowers; very sweet as usual; it has a light sourness and cherry touch in the end. The final is also flowery, which probably lowers the most this Mead. A bit too messy.

50 cL clear bottle. Pours almost clear and deep golden orange with no head. Aroma is dense marzipan and almonds. Sweet, honey and pollen. Almondish and dry phenolic finish.

50 cL clear bottle. Pours dark brown with a bubbly white head. Aroma is spiced and pollen honey herbal. Honey and pollen flavoured. Sweet and citric flavoured. Sweet finish.

Hazy amber. Sweet aroma with loads of almonds and flowers. Flavour had a huge amount of almonds, flowers and marzipan. Finished sweet.
