On tap at the brewpub. Looks dark brown in the glass, creamy head. Starts moldy-malty, not really like a festbier. Too malty, modest dusty-smoky, finish mushy. Not good!

(6/21/08) Draught at the brewpub in Leipzig. Very pale yellow color (almost like a Belgian Wit or a Berliner Weisse) with a white head. Aroma is wheaty and fruity with some spices (clove is present). Sweetish flavor with some banana, light wheaty tartness and some light spiciness. Light to medium-bodied. A decent Weizen.

On tap at the brewery. The beer is copper-coloured, modest turbid. Creamy foam. Starts a bid vapid, turns then malty. The finish is malty-dry, a bit moldy. The interesting is missing. Only average!

On tap at the brewpub. Looks like a dunkelweizen, quite dark and turbid. Aroma modest malty. Starts very washy, becomes maltier in the end. Not really good.

On tap at the brewery. The beer is very dark, nearly copper-colored. The aroma is very alcoholic, nearly like medicine. It’s the same malty like some other beers of the brewery. Not penetrating, very drinkable. Good beer.
